Collegiality

As editors of the Maryland Law Review, we are colleagues first and foremost, and aim to foster a friendly environment.  We value the contributions of each other and support our fellow editors. We always endeavor to honor our commitments, and we communicate with each other when we need help doing so.  Working with a team often presents challenges, so it is important that every member of the journal be flexible with assignments and continue to produce high-quality work.  Each editor’s contribution is immensely important to the final publication.  Ultimately, Maryland Law Review staff should be familiar with every role and the publication process to better support their fellow editors.

Professionalism

The Maryland Law Review endeavors to communicate clearly and professionally, and complete tasks and duties with the utmost integrity.  We are accountable and respectful to our colleagues, contributors, and ourselves.  In particular, we strive to instill ownership, diligence, and purpose among the Maryland Law Review staff by communicating transparently about expectations and the importance of each person’s role. Conducting ourselves in a professional manner is vital to ensuring Maryland Law Review maintains its reputation as a leading national law journal and good standing within the legal community.
